Where are your programs?
We host programs across the United States at different locations every summer. We’re looking forward to hosting internationally soon.
When are your programs?
We host three programs every year spring-summer time. Please check our application page for the exact dates by clicking “Apply Now” button.
Are you affiliated with a church?
No, we’re a parachurch ministry.
What is a parachurch ministry?
Para just means that something occupies more than one position. In our case, being parachurch means that we help across denominations to support the global Church.
I’m engaged, can I still come?
Yes, as long as you’re not married before you arrive in Kentucky.
Do you offer any other programs on discipleship?
Yes, but they’re only open to our alumni brothers. We’ve hosted three additional programs that strengthen our alumni brothers as they make disciples of all nations.
- Band of Husbands in Christ for brothers who have gone on to become husbands and fathers.
- Unite, a weekend of fellowship to encourage and support a life of discipleship
- Recharge, to rest and refuel the disciple
- With so many of our alumni now starting families, we’re looking forward to hosting Band of Fathers in Christ, too.
Did the name come from the Band of Brothers mini-series?
No, but we did each get our name from the same place! It comes from Shakespeare’s Henry V. Henry gives a speech to his fellow Englishmen, encouraging them to fight the French despite being severely outnumbered. Not only is he remembered for saying, “the fewer the men, the greater share of honor” but in Act IV scene 3 Henry delivers an inspiring speech, lifting the moral of his men, and saying, “We few, we happy few, we band of brothers . . .” It even gets better from there, but we’ll let you read the rest.
